Community of Practice – MANAGEMENT OSTEOPOROSIS AND FRACTURE PREVENTION IN LTC
Fractures related to osteoporosis are a leading cause of morbidity in older adults. This session will highlight evidence-based strategies for diagnosing and managing osteoporosis in long-term care residents, with a focus on fracture prevention. Participants will review pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, fall prevention approaches, and practical strategies for implementing best practices in LTC settings.
