DESCRIPTION:\nThis session will provide an overview of the role of the Ontario Patient Ombudsman and what it means for long-term care physicians. Participants will gain insight into how the Ombudsman’s office addresses patient and family concerns, common issues raised in long-term care, and practical considerations for physicians to ensure transparency, accountability, and quality of care.\nCOP is now accredited!\nThis one-credit per hour Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Ontario Chapter for up to 1 Mainpro+ credit.\nTo be eligible for credit:\nParticipants must remain available for the entire duration of the session. A mandatory post-session survey must be completed in order to receive your certificate.\nRegistration is required to attend. Only registered participants will be sent the Teams link prior to the session.\n\n
